Botanical monogram A, without a namefrill preview

Watermarks protect your preview and won’t appear on your finished artwork.

Portrait previews & watermarks

Will the watermarks appear on my artwork?

No. The repeated Frill marks only protect your on-screen preview. Your finished print and any purchased digital file will be watermark-free. The example below shows the difference using one of our sample portraits.

Unframed Poppy portrait with the same repeated diagonal Frill marks used on real previews
On-screen preview · watermarked
The same unframed Poppy artwork without watermarks
Finished artwork · no watermarks

Why is my preview smaller than the finished artwork?

Your preview is a smaller, protected version for reviewing the portrait. We keep the clean original privately for preparing your order, and your digital proof review is still included before printing.
